Come pray for A Priest in love with the Immaculate Heart

Reverend Julio Rivero T.O.R., 96 years old, a member of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis for 66 years, went to the Lord on July 11, 2025. He was in hospice care at Saint Francis Friary, Loretto, PA.His Reverence had his 60 th Jubilee of Religious Profession of Vows on July 1st 2025~ Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rev. Father Julio served in the Diocese of St. Petersburg Florida as Parochial Vicar of St. Mary Our Lady of Grace Parish, St. Petersburg, from 1988 – 1992; St. John Vianney Parish, St. Petersburg Beach, from 1992 – 2002 then after serving as Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Bradenton, from 2008-2012; Father came back to St. Mary Our Lady of Grace, in St. Petersburg as Parochial Vicar from 2009 - 2013. He was well known by many for His Reverence's intense MARIAN DEVOTION, healing ministry and frequently visited our diocese to celebrate healing Masses. Over His Reverence’s 25+ years of service to the Diocese of St. Petersburg he offered countless Holy Masses, heard thousands of Confessions, was spiritual Director and Father to innumerable souls, married MANY couples and led dozens of young people into happy and holy vocations to the Priesthood and Consecrated Religious Life.

Please therefore join us in prayerful thanksgiving for the gift of his life and his Ministry
